Molenia Birthstone Butterfly Stud Earrings

I generally love jewelry from Molenia, especially their moissanite, but these missed the mark.

What I liked: Like all Molenia jewelry, these are sterling silver, so no worries about green skin, or raw, red, irritated ears. They come beautifully boxed and with a small gift bag ready to be gifted or placed under the Christmas tree. The earrings are shiny, well made, and none of the prongs catch, even on nylon. The backs are tight and hold the earrings firmly but comfortably in place. No worries about losing these.

What I did not like: I received the Aquamarine earrings, and the stones are very pale and washed out. They almost look like a very cheap glass that has a very slight pale bluish hue to them. They are not particularly eye catching being so pale and don't sparkle very much like a high quality CZ or moissanite would. Considering that with taxes, these are nearly $30, not a great value for money.

Recommended only if you are looking for something with barely any color. Do not go by the stock photos for color. See pix attached.

These earrings are absolutely gorgeous and they completely delivered. I picked my grandmother’s birthstone because butterflies were our special thing, and now that she’s gone, little butterfly pieces help me feel close to her. These feel meaningful without trying too hard, and the design has that soft, feminine look that makes them easy to wear with anything. The aquamarine style stones catch the light in a really pretty way, and the sterling silver feels sturdy and well made. They’re lightweight and comfortable, which I appreciate because some earrings start to feel heavy after a few hours. These don’t. The size is dainty enough for everyday wear but still noticeable in a way that feels intentional. They sit nicely on the ear and don’t poke or irritate, which is a big deal for sensitive skin. The hypoallergenic material makes them easy to wear all day without thinking about it. The quality is genuinely impressive for the price. The stones look clear and bright, the metal feels solid, and the overall finish looks more expensive than it is. They pair well with simple outfits, dressier looks, and everything in between. They also make a really sweet gift if you’re someone who likes giving pieces with meaning behind them. For something that’s both sentimental and pretty, these were a great find. They look beautiful on, they feel comfortable, and they carry a little emotional weight in the best way. I highly recommend them.

These are so beautiful! The cubic zirconia stones are set really well in solid sterling silver. The color looks exactly like aquamarine would. (I am reviewing March-Aquamarine) These are post earrings, and are not screw backs. The size is noticeable and you can tell that they are butterflies. They feel comfortable in. Enough weight so you know it’s there but not so much that it’s too heavy or annoying. They come in a nice box and come with a bag so it would be easy to give as a gift. I really love these earrings.

This is my third purchase from this company each time the item arrives it’s beautifully presented in a gift box inside a gift bag with a suede like jewelry pouch. It comes with a little card and envelope you can fill out if you plan on gifting these. I did get these with the intention of saving them for my daughter’s birthday. They are her birthstone and they are stunning in person. The size is perfect, easy to tell the shape is a butterfly but not too big that they are overwhelming. The quality is always on point. Excellent value for the money and I will continue to purchase my jewelry from Molenia. Stunning don’t even think twice.

Beautiful set of earrings, good sized and delicate details. As listing claims this is silver and im no expert but I do know my daughter gets an allergic reaction to metals other then gold or silver so we put this to her test and it passed! So I'll say this is indeed sterling silver and no irritation has been observed with continued used. The only con is that this are not flats on the back so are not ideal to wear at sleep time. Great packaging, ready to gift and fairly affordable, recommended.

These butterfly earrings from Molenia are nice. This pair of earrings sits upward, and the butterflies look like they are going to fly away! They are so cute and would make a nice gift for a young lady. They are made of sterling silver so they shouldn't fade, irritate skin or tarnish easily. You have your choice of either eleven different birthstones or for September there is blue zircon edged with a gold tone. My only complaint would be the aquamarine for March that I chose is very faint. It almost looks clear.

For the size and amount of sterling silver used I think these are a little pricey but nothing out of control.

The butterfly earrings in aquamarine are gorgeous. They have four aquamarine stones, two being the upper part of the wings with a marquise cut and two with a round cut being the lower part of the wings. Both sets have blue aquamarine with two shades of blue, the upper wings are a lighter blue than the lower wings and look very pretty. The stones are held with tiny pins. The antennas and middle butterfly body are shiny. The backs of the stud earrings fit a little tight compared to other stud earrings, and with use they became easier to put on. I enjoy wearing the earrings with blue tops.

These have honestly become my new everyday earrings… I put them in the day they arrived and I’m still wearing them now. They don’t irritate my ears at all and I can even sleep in them without any issues which is rare for me. The size is perfect too, not too tiny that you can’t tell what they are but not huge either.

I’ve actually been looking for earrings like this for years… I remember seeing a pair kind of similar on a lady in a little shop when I was younger and I never forgot them, but I could never find ones that matched the look in my head. These are almost identical to what I remembered and I got so excited when I opened the box lol I knew right away I’d finally found the style I wanted.

The stones catch the light nicely and haven’t fallen out or gotten dull. The backings stay on well too, I haven’t lost one yet which is a miracle in this house. I keep checking myself in the mirror because I like how they look with pretty much everything I wear. If you’ve been wanting simple but cute earrings that don’t feel cheap, these are a really sweet option.

Darling, high quality stud earrings for pierced ears. High gloss blue resin makes them unique. Also they are 3-D instead of the more common flat design. My wife has very sensitive ears and she has no problem wearing these. They come in a very nice gift box. These make a nice gift. My wife loves butterflies so these are perfect for her.
