Flat Back Moissanite Stud Earrings

Love these! Smaller than I expected (like my own lack of research) but they are comfortable. I have to sleep with earrings in because of how quickly my holes heal and seal up with a thin layer of skin on the back. These have entirely stopped that, are comfortable to sleep on, and the backs stay on. Still easily removable to put in other earrings as needed.

I received these today and am very happy so far. They were bigger than I thought since I planned to wear them in my second piercing. I moved my real diamond/platinum set earrings and have these in my main piercing. I will be evaluating the hypoallergenic factor as I have been unable to wear anything but platinum without causing a reaction. Still giving 5 stars but returning for a slightly smaller stone. No reaction to the metal after a whole day and night. These are beautiful.

These earrings are both beautiful and incredibly comfortable. I wore them to work on the first day of school and received so many compliments! The packaging is lovely too—perfect for gifting right away. For the price, they’re an amazing deal. The sparkle is absolutely stunning, and the screw-back design is not only secure but also very easy to use. They’re so comfortable and durable that I even sleep with them on sometimes. I highly recommend them!

The Flat Back Moissanite earring set is a wonderful choice if you want the look of diamonds without the high price tag. I purchased these for my college-age daughter, and she loves them. The flat-back design makes them comfortable to wear—even while lying down—though it does take a little practice to insert the backing easily.

The earrings arrived nicely packaged with a pouch, gift bag, gift box, and even paperwork meant to emphasize the Moissanite’s value. While it’s clear this is a lab-created stone (not a precious gem), it does sparkle beautifully and convincingly mimics the look of diamonds.

Overall, if you’re after elegant earrings that deliver the diamond look at a much more affordable price, this set is a great buy.

These .5ct Moissanite earrings are extremely pretty. They come in attractive packaging which would make them great for gift giving. The stones have astonishing fire and sparkle beautifully. The stones are 5mmin diameter each. The well crafted settings are made from .925 silver, plated with yellow gold. I like the screw on backs as they are very secure and comfortable. Both stones came with individual certificates of authenticity from GRA. I also tested both with my Diamond Selector II tester and they both tested positive as diamonds. Of course these are not diamonds, but it confirms they are genuine Moissanite.
The current price on Amazon of $39.99 for .5ct each (1ct tw) moissanite earrings represents what I feel is a very good value. If you are looking for a set of earrings with a lot of sparkle for yourself or to give as a gift, these would certainly fit the bill.

So far so good. I’ve been wearing these for a week now. They actually went on quite easily. I was a little worried I would drop the back five times before I got it connected to the earring. The stones are a little bigger than I thought they would be, but they are white, bright, and sparkly!

These earrings are extremely comfortable. Finally an earring I can sleep in. The length of the post is perfect for my ears. Some I have tried are too long. They are high quality and the stone looks like a diamond. I initially bought the 4 mm however the stone was too large and flashy for my taste. The basket that the stone was set in stuck out a bit too much as well. The 3 mm were a perfect everyday size. Love them.

I love how much stuff comes with the mini gift bag is so cute! The shine is so clear and gives you cards of authenticity. The size is perfect too for the stone and the bar. It's not to loose or to tight to squeeze my ear. Truly happy with the product.

This is a nice set that is packed well, comes with a gift bag and certificates. It would make an excellent gift for a loved one. The earring studs are on a shorter side, so may cause some problem for thicker ear lobes. They look discreetly elegant on ears. I am glad I came across these earrings, my wife loves them!

These earrings are beautiful. Super shiny. Stunning diamond look; without the stunning diamond price tag. Excellent quality and clarity. Came packaged in a way that would make them a good gift. Little leather pouch, a blank card with an envelope for a personalized note, AND even a gift bag! Makes me wanna save them to pass on.

The only thing I really don't like about this is the lack of moissanite certification. It comes with a beautiful gift box and small gift bag. You are going to want to open the set and push the earrings through the Velvet liner before gifting it because the earrings come in little plastic bags. It also comes with a really pretty pink velvet pouch for storage and cleaning, a jewelry care card, and a little especially for you gift card. These are really pretty studs and have a great Sparkle to them that is hard to catch on camera.

I think they are overpriced without certification

These gold Moissanite studs are very pretty little pierced earrings. It was a rainy day when I photographed them, but was still able to catch their appealing reflective shine by zooming in close.

I love Moissanite as an alternative to more expensive diamonds. Their light bending qualities are not the same. Diamonds are predictably sparkling when shown under illumination. Bright store showcases make them visually “pop” more than do everyday incandescent bulbs. Moissanite, on the other hand, comes alive with dancing rays even under partial sun, and these earrings are no exception.

Moissanite is lab created from a different mineral than a diamond, and isn’t as hard. It shines more brightly than cubic zirconia. Even small stones make an impact.

These earrings don’t get lost on an ear. You can see their colorful prismatic glow here, like a rainbow bottled up inside and set on fire. If I put them next to my near colorless diamond ring, the less flashy diamond would want to sit somewhere else to avoid comparison.

They come with a soft pink envelope, box, gift card and gift bag with a small white ribbon handle. Very thoughtful, except that these earrings aren’t going anywhere! I give them five stars for quality, value and attractiveness.

These moissanite earrings came beautifully boxed and ready for gift giving. Which works out well, because I bought them for my niece, who just turned 9, for a Christmas present. These are truly lovely: the moissanite is sparkly, the earring backs are simple locking butterfly backs, but they feel snug and secure, and you can hear the muffled snap as the backing engages the lock notches on the post. The earrings feel sturdy, and the quality is evident. These will not bend easily. Also a bonus is they are stamped 925 for sterling silver. No mystery metals here.

They are just the right size not to look ostentatious, but they do provide a touch of class to any outfit. These can be worn as main earlobe earrings or in a second or third hole and complement jeans and a sweatshirt or a business casual suit, making them quite versatile and a wardrobe staple. There is a reason that diamond (or diamond-like) studs never go out of style. Moreover, at this price point, they are super affordable, and if my niece loses them, somehow, no one is going to be distraught. I have taken a photo with them next to my expensive moissanite earrings in white gold--the Molenia earrings are on the bottom. I think they look pretty good next to the C&C moissanite.

I ordered the flat-back Moissanite stud earrings, but I received the more traditional butterfly backing. I was somewhat disappointed that I was not able to try the flat-back earrings. Additionally, the product description stated that I would receive two GRA certificates for proof of quality of the Moissanite stones. I did not receive these certificates.

Having stated what was “missing” from my order, I will add that the Moissanite stones were brilliant, sparkling and lovely.

1. The earring settings are a base of .925 sterling silver with yellow gold plating. The product description states that these earrings are non-tarnishing and waterproof. In other words, one can shower, shampoo and condition your hair, and complete daily tasks while wearing these earrings.

2. The setting, posts, and stones seem to be well-made and durable. I like that type of quality. The Moissanite stones are held in place with a classic 4-prong setting.

Moissanite is a naturally-occurring silicon carbide rare mineral that was first discovered by French chemist, Henri Moissan in 1893. This is a rare mineral that was usually found in trace quantities where meteorites had impacted the earth. Because of this rarity, all Moissanite is now man-made.

Moissanite is one of the hardest known substances—just below the hardness score of diamonds—coming in at 9.25 on the Mohs scale.

3. I ordered the 0.1 caret, 3 mm size stones.

Overall, I love the shine, brilliance, and quality of these earrings. They are very attractive and comfortable to wear. I have been wearing mine now for about two weeks—only removing them to gently clean them and then pop them back in. I would recommend them, but be aware that you may not receive exactly what was ordered.
