The cross pendant is 925 silver and the chain is stainless steel. it came in a gift box and sheath you can use to store the necklace if you are not wearing it. Since it is silver, I am assuming that over time it can get tarnished but when I received it, there are no signs of damage or being tarnished. All in all, this necklace is well made, is expensive but it is silver. The design is nice and simple which is perfect for a subtle flex. You can get the chain in two different lengths which is great. I think that this brand makes the pendant in a few different cross designs so I like the options. I think it is a good value.
